Mogu will be joining Lineapelle from 22nd to 24th of February (Fieramilano Rho, hall 9, P5-P7), presenting ongoing developments resulting from EMYCLOTH, a collaborative project between Mogu and Bond Factory, supported by ELIIT and financed by the European Commission.
LINEAPELLE is the most important international exhibition dedicated to leather, accessories, components, synthetics and models for footwear, leather goods, garments and furniture.
The EMYCLOTH project is devoted to further developing bio-fabricated mycelium-based materials for fashion, leveraging the great potential expressed by digital technologies and inspiring, innovative, sustainable-by-design patterns.
Therefore, thanks to the established synergy and to their respective competences, the presentation will showcase ongoing experimentation and prototypes, demonstrating effective application opportunities for manufacturing materials and products for fashion, as emerging from the combination of Mogu’s innovative mycelium-based materials with Bond Factory’s advanced technological manufacturing.
