PLUMA ACOUSTIC SURFACE & FINISHES

Pluma acoustic panels are available in two ranges of carefully designed finishes: Painted & Kiwi
Thanks to their unique surfaces, our selected mycelium materials provide unusually intriguing tactile feelings.

Two Unique and Distinct Finishes

PLUMA PAINTED

White is the natural expression of mycelium — the essence of Mogu’s raw beauty. This tone has long defined our signature aesthetic: pure, timeless, and inherently elegant.
Expanding beyond nature’s original palette, we’ve developed innovative finishing techniques that open new horizons of colour and customisation. Each panel is coated with a bi-component, water-based paint that is free from heavy metals and low in VOCs. The result is a refined matte surface that preserves the material’s soft tactility while enhancing its durability and strength.

By merging technology with nature, Mogu panels offer a unique sensory and visual experience — sustainable, versatile, and unmistakably distinctive.

PLUMA KIWI

The Kiwi finish is crafted from upcycled textiles, finely pulverised and applied directly onto the panel’s surface. This innovative treatment enhances scratch resistance, refines acoustic performance, and introduces a distinctive tactile identity.

Slim, elegant, and 100% circular, these wall panels elevate any interior space while delivering exceptional sound absorption.

The natural flock imparts a unique sensory richness, particularly to the touch — a soft, inviting feel beneath a subtly irregular texture.

Unlike synthetic, chemically treated alternatives, this natural process reveals depth, warmth, and a truly authentic touch.

Only Responsible Colours

It goes without saying, sustainability will always be our priority, even in the choice of paints we use. The colorful finishing used for Mogu Acoustic palette fully covers our mycelium materials with only 50 g/sqm (dry weight), it is elastic (thus not acoustically blocking), and it offers a pleasant soft touch! Our paint is a water-based, heavy-metal free bicomponent dispersion with low VOC, designed with a very low gloss to ensure a matte aesthetics and a soft touch experience.

From upcycled fiber to finishing products

Made from soft, foam-like mycelium materials combined with upcycled textile residues, Kiwi Panels Acoustic Panels offer a natural solution for sound management. This natural flocking process provides an innovative way to recycle textiles and natural wool fiber residues. By harnessing this advanced technology, Kiwi Panels are uniquely designed products that embody our commitment to the circular economy, ensuring sustainability is prioritized at every stage.

Feel the unexpected

Thanks to their unique surfaces, our selected mycelium materials provide unusually intriguing tactile sensations, where natural softness meets subtle irregularity, inviting touch and exploration.

Unique Design Surfaces

Pluma acoustic panels are available in a range of carefully designed finishes. They can be painted with sustainable, water-based coatings, offering clean and refined aesthetics while maintaining a low environmental impact.

Alternatively, Pluma is available in the Kiwi finish. This finishing is derived from upcycled textiles, which are pulverized and applied directly onto the surface of the Mogu panels. The Kiwi finish ensures greater scratch resistance, enhances acoustic performance, and creates a distinctive, tactile texture with a unique design character.
